This is my main computer. I use it for basically everything: schoolwork, software development, creating graphics, watching stuff, you name it. It's light, portable, amazingly built, the battery lasts the whole day (even after 2 years of use), and still relativly performant. Of course, you ain't playing any GPU intensive games on this thing, but I don't generally do that anyway.
The only real issue I have with this thing is the RAM. I bought the base 8 GB model, and yes 8 GB is indeed not enough in 2024. You don't run into issues during light usage, but when working on a project in Xcode while having several browser tabs open (including YT), plus Discord or other chat apps, it really starts to chug. And of course you can't upgrade the RAM because it's soldered.
